“Heh… love? LOVE!?”

Kavi has known most of the Freelancer crew since middle school and though they ran in the same circles he never really went on many of their adventures. The disconnect was likely due to the grade difference, since the bulk of the group are all contemporaries in that regard. Instead, he finds himself in the misadventures of Lord Pitaya and his Lab.

His job is mostly to test out potentially dangerous innovations over and over again until they are safe for normal people to use. The plus side of the gig is that he gets to keep anything they deem impossible to make consumer friendly; his favorite toy being the electromagnetic roller blades that he didn’t even bother to show up for the proper field test. Having a genius level IQ himself, Kavi can usually tell which gadgets will be his before they even try them out.

Kavi is a very cool headed individual, although it may not appear that way at times. He’s the kind of guy that likes to make life more interesting and flavorful when he gets the chance. Many of his over the top responses are merely the equivalent of Shakespearean theatrics. He’s really a good and reliable guy despite what some tales might paint him, so if he’s doing something questionable it is likely for a good reason.

On top of having access to a variety dangerous weapons and gadgets, Kavi actually trains regularly. He focuses on speed and agility over strength, but that hasn’t stopped him being able to spring up multiple stories into the air and rip a car in half while landing. His weapon of choice is the tonfa precisely to focus on those aspects of combat. He is such a capable combatant that he regularly places in top 5 of the annual King Kong of Combat, though he stopped competing in it for valid reasons.
