Every Wednesday, if there is any content, be it illustrations, videos, music, or whatever, made by fans or is otherwise unofficial to the site, we will collect it and create an Art Round-up post. If you don’t see an Art Round-up on a given Wednesday, that just means either no fan art was made or we couldn’t find it. Feel free to shoot us your own art or any you come across.
For art to be featured on our site, we need to have a link to the original post so we can hyperlink to it and both credit and support the original artist. If the piece has been posted to multiple places, we prefer the artist’s main locale, unless it is an 18+ site. If that is the case, we would prefer a more family-friendly location to hyperlink, but it is fine if it is the only location available (we’ll just leave a note to warn our audience). Art must also be PG-13 to be shared here. It can be a hard PG-13, mild blood, obscured nudity, stuff like that, just don’t go harder than what you can already read on the site.
With the recent developments in AI, this is our policy on that. We will accept fan art made with AI, but there are some caveats. Firstly, all posts made with AI will be placed lower on the Art Round-up post after any art that didn’t involve it. Secondly, the piece must be properly credited as best as possible. If all you did was prompt to generate, credit yourself as the commissioner or director (the latter if you are refeeding and reprompting to get a desired goal), and the model you used as the artist (which is how we will treat it by default if information isn’t given). If you used AI-generated assets and brought them into another program to do your own art, credit the model that supplied you with the assets as such. If you used someone else’s art (please avoid doing this for the most part) to generate your image, credit each artist whose assets the image came from (the artist’s tags without links will suffice for this level, but any link given will be added all the same). The same applies even if you aren’t using AI and photobashing other people’s assets into your art.
With all that in mind, have fun with it. You can send us information on new fan art through DMs on any official EDK profile around the web, through the Art Round-up section of our Discord, in the comments of any previous Art Round-up post, or directly to the email immadametal@gmail.com.
